My lineage tracing back to Mr. Mikao Usui

My journey:
I grew up surrounded by nature, and I loved it. I've always found solace and calmness by being in touch with dirt, water, and leaf. Though I felt a strong affinity with nature I never understood enough to phrase it in terms of energy because it wasn't an idea that I had ever encountered. I first started receiving Reiki treatments as a counterpoint to traditional psychotherapy. With my counselor I was able to define various bad habits and harmful methods of thought, but I didn’t seem able to actually change what I was doing. Despite having figured out why I was self-sabotaging and what I needed to change to start to become a happier person, I felt completely blocked to actually making those changes. Since logic couldn’t seem to progress me from realization to healing, I turned to Reiki. My Reiki practitioner and I were able to work directly on the energy pathways in my body and clear the blockages. Once the blockages were cleared I was able to more forward with my healing. Over the last four years I have progressed through the levels to earn my Reiki master certification. I have been blessed to learn many amazing methods to heal myself, animals, and others.I am now ready to start offering my services to a broader array of clients so that I can help facilitate their journeys and development.
My goal:
When I first encountered Reiki and energy work my aim was to find some way to feel connected again, what I found was bountiful, wonderful, healing. I want to help people heal from their wounds, connect with nature, and find joy.
My methods:
I've become familiar with the following tools and am always looking for more ways to help people:
